Perfect Situation

Monday, February 27th, 2006

Face it…. There’s rarely a perfect situation in life…… at least this song from weezer will make you feel like it………… enjoy!

What’s the deal with my brain?
Why am I so obviously insane?
In a perfect situation
I led love down the drain

There’s the pitch, slow and straight
All I have to do is swing and I’m a hero
But I’m a zero

Hungry nights once again
Now it’s getting unbelievable
Cause I could not have it better
But I just can’t get no play

From the girls all around
As they search the night
For someone to hold on to
And just pass through

Singin’
Oh-oh
Oh-oh

Get your hands off the girl
Can’t you see that she belongs to me?
And I don’t appreciate this
Excess company

Though I can’t satisfy
All the needs she has
And so she starts to wander
Can you blame her?

Singin’
Oh-oh
Oh-oh

Tell me there’s a logic out there
Leading me to better prepare
For the day that something really special might come

Tell me there’s some hope for me
I don’t want to be lonely
For the rest of my days on the earth

Oh-oh
Oh-oh

Singin’
Oh-oh
Oh-oh

The 7 deadly Sims…. Sins

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

Hey people, i just felt that the world is full of evil elements, don’t you think? everyone no matter how good, innocent they are, there is a hint of a flaw within them, guess nobody’s perfect. here i would like to discuss i lil about the 7 deadly sins in our lives, from the least to the most deadly:

Lust: desire to love, and excessive sexual desires. can be considered as slutty for women, or perverted for men. people of this type are usually appeared very sexy, has sh*tloads of sexual thoughts and never shy away from having a good sex.

Gluttony: Extreme waste of their possessions, mostly referring to food and/or money. These people always waste what they have and rarely plan for their future. Some of them are bizzare eaters that chows down whatever they feel like it.

Greed: Wanting of extreme power and wealth, rarely feel sastisfaction in their lives except having a lot of money surrounded by them. They just need to have more than they wanted. They often possessive of their property and almost never shares to anyone.

Sloth: Laziness and idlelation. they hate exhausting activities and prefer to sit passively on a couch and blah. their sleeping hours are more than an average person and finds hard to get up and start doing something. Seldom willing to do what they have told.

Wrath: They are often angry people who expresses their anger anywhere, anytime. Usually violent in nature, they are very hard to deal with. They will shout, curse, snap, beat or simply kick a vending machine when something never gets their way.

Envy: An obsessive want to be better than anyone else. They are jealous people who don’t like rivals being better than them. They are also over-competitive, when they will do anything to push their competitors off the race. Often uncomfortable with "good" people.

Pride: A sense or feeling that you are the best. They are seen bragging their achievements and boasting about their abilities. They are aslo over-confident, cocky in other words, usually looks down on "ordinary" people and shameless tell everyone that they are great.

So what do you think you are? for me i think i have commited 4 out of 7 sins(which is pretty darn horrible already). You might like to tell me your deadly sins under comments….. bye2

Friendships?

Monday, February 13th, 2006

This time I’ll do something different, a poem with a post tagging with it….. Just to make it longer

O good people of the world….

Friends are the ones who don’t judge

Ready to lend a shoulder and hugs

Inspirational people who are kind,

Each of them are hard to find,

Never leave us when times of trouble, who

Defeats all hardship on the double….

For those who really found their best friends, congrats. Best friends here doesn’t mean the ones who just accompany you for lunch or toilet breaks, but the ones who really understands who you are. Come to think of it ….. real friends are already hard to find, what more best friends, just like finding a rare gem.

I have some best friends back in secondary school who really can rely on in times of work and play. We are a bunch of co-ed, multiracial group who can talk almost everything under the sun, and having fun along the way…. kinda miss these guys, even though we have planned outings together

Well life has changed dramatically here now, but i still hangout a certain group, but i still have a distant feel when hanging out with them…. Perhaps they don’t really understand me much, or maybe i haven’t open up to them, this is somthing yet to find out…..

A philosopher named has said something like this: there are three types of friends, Friends of interest, friends of pleasure, and friends of goodness. now the latter is the least favorable friend to me….. Those people seek the goodness of me, and after that they left after getting help (>:P) these are the friends you can simply forget….. they don’t even care to keep in touch……

So, found your best friends? Coz life is a journey, a long one….. its lonely just to walk alone…… And yea happy Valentine’s day for those celebrating it…….byez

Puzzles in life

Thursday, February 9th, 2006

Jigsaw puzzles—– Its a combination of art and logic, where we wonder ourselves where the certain piece of puzzle should go, to create a beautiful masterpiece.

I was a fan of completing jigsaw puzzles since I was a kid. The fun i had is endless and the time spent on them are simply countless. From cartoons to scenery, the complete puzzle is definately an artwork worth putting up on the wall.

i think life is like a jigsaw puzzle. parts of our life are like the pieces, just waiting for us to put all together. to make it whole again. When it’s complete, we often feel a sense of satisfaciton, more or less what we feel when we fulfill our lives or just feels like life is meaningful to us.

Often we had some pieces falling apart, or just trying to fit two unmatched pieces…. just as life doesn’t feels like there’s hope… this is where we should not give up in life, as there is always a way to solve anything in life……

"When God closes the door at you, He will always open another for you…." I think its a biblical quote. Just remeber there’s a whole journey ahead of us…. brace yourselves!

Chinese new year and some other stories

Tuesday, February 7th, 2006

Chinese new year has come and gone so soon, number of stuf i did in this festive season. family reunion, getting angpows (i wonder the value had shrunk), tossed yee-sang about 3 times, and my favorite mahjong lessons (with no gambling involved).

The every year question that i have to answer from my grandmother is this: "Who are you?"…. in case you’re wondering, she suffered from Alzemier’s disease. Always forgetful at times, she often ask people questions like: "What day is today?", "Who are you?", "Have I eaten?". One of my aunt is the person patient enough to answer her sometimes frustrating questions like these, the other aunt don’t really compromise on her shinanigans……

Well kinda intimidating experience for a frail person like my grandmother to suddenly don’t remember who are her loved ones, wheather she should give angpows to him or her, or just don’t remember who you are….. scary

we don’t know what will happen to us in the future, but in the mean time love your loved ones, just appreciate them……
